Russell Craig

Chief Technology Officer, Microsoft New Zealand

Russell Craig works with both public and private sector stakeholders on matters related to technology strategy and policy for Microsoft New Zealand. Based in Wellington, his role focuses on helping customers understand and realise the broad transformational opportunities enabled by Microsoft’s cloud platform.

He also works with policymakers and regulators requiring assurance about cloud services and advanced technologies, drives opportunities for cloud-enabled innovation, and addresses matters related to cybersecurity at both a customer and national level.

Russell is currently a board member of the NZ Health IT Industry Association and an Executive Councillor of Digital Identity New Zealand.
